Responsible Gaming

Decide the amount before you feel the pull to change it

Set a figure you can afford to lose before you start, and treat that money as already spent the moment you begin. Deciding in advance removes the in-the-moment reasoning that pushes a limit upward, because a number chosen while calm is more reliable than a number chosen while playing. If a session is going badly, stop at the figure you set rather than adjusting it to cover the loss.

Chasing a loss changes what you are doing

Trying to win back money already lost turns entertainment into a repair job, and the mathematics of the games do not owe you a recovery. Keeping gambling money separate from rent, bills or borrowed funds protects the rest of your life from a bad run, and taking a break during a session gives you a chance to notice whether you are still enjoying it or just continuing out of frustration. If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, tell someone close to you early, while it is still an easy conversation to have.

This site links to independent help, nothing else

Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: gambleaware.nsw.gov.au, gamblinghelponline.org.au and responsiblegambling.vic.gov.au. These are the only outbound links on the site that are not commercial: they carry no sponsored marking, are set to nofollow, and open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows one. The eighteen-and-over restriction appears throughout this build, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing, and each of the ten operator listings closes with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules can change without notice.

Account controls live at the destination, not here

Deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion are all things a reader arranges inside an account at an operator's own site. This build has no account, no form and no server-side application, so nothing published here can switch one of those controls on, check it or enforce it. Nobody's age is verified on this site and no gambling takes place on it; any such check happens at the destination once you follow an operator link and its rules, checks and account controls take over. No advertising or behavioural profiling network runs on these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader based on risky play elsewhere.
